Boston, that mecca of knowledge, insight and wisdom, has proclaimed the Christian flag to be so offensive that it can’t be flown in official city celebrations.
The city, which has allowed nearly 300 other private flags to be flown on a city flagpole, has deemed that the white flag with a red cross on a blue background would be too divisive for its fragile residents.
But, the battle is not over. Liberty Counsel has taken up the case and is pursuing the matter in federal court.
The article notes that Boston’s official motto is “SICUT PATRIBUS, SIT DEUS NOBIS,” which is Latin for “God be with us as he was with our fathers.” How ironic.
Again, Christians have to be tolerant of the flag of gay nation, satanic flags, sports flags and just about every other type of banner that is allowed to fly over the streets of Boston on a city flagpole.
Is it too much to ask that tolerance extend both ways?
