British library boots Christian singalong time

This type of politically correct nonsense is becoming a daily occurrence somewhere.

Burgess Hill Library, a public library in West Sussex, England, has allowed members of King’s Church to conduct a “rhyme time” singalong event once a month for the past eight years.

That meant that the group met without incident nearly 100 times.

It all ended when a single person complained that some of the songs mentioned God.

The library staff wasn’t singing the songs. The kids were not required to be there.

But, God is offensive to some people. So, in order to be tolerant, the event had to end.

Why is it that libraries can allow and even promote events where men dressed as drag queens read stories to young children — which many people find offensive across a wide spectrum of society — but when Christian parents complain, they are told they must be tolerant of people who don’t share their beliefs.

Then why aren’t atheists told they must be tolerant of people who don’t share their beliefs?

The organizers of the rhyme time event are appealing the decision and event seeking help from local elected officials to restore that happy event for kids.

They face an uphill battle.

What if the organizers allowed the tykes to cross dress as drag queens and hookers. Then would they be allowed to sing a song that mentions God?
