Proposed rule limits foster parent rights with sexually confused kids

As America descends further down the slippery slope of sexual identity politics, a new policy in Kansas severely curtails the rights of foster parents. In fact, their rights are trumped by the sexual orientation of children who come to live with them.

Case in point, a proposed rule prohibits case workers from disclosing a child’s sexual orientation from foster parents, and then penalizes them for failing to use the correct pronouns when referring to the child.

It also opens the door for the state requiring that a biological male who “identifies” as a female be allowed to share a bedroom with a biological female.

Another news story from Wichita Eagle describes the impact the new rule could have on recruiting foster parents.

The sexual revolution truly has become a revolutionary failure.

From The Family Policy Alliance of Kansas:

This week, the Kansas Department of Children and Families (DCF) quietly sent guidance documents to child placement agencies requiring that all foster families agree with Governor Kelly’s invasive sexual agenda.
Gov. Laura Kelly

The new policy requires that child placement agencies and families comply with the governor’s very specific opinions about the LGBTQ agenda. The guidance even delves into extremely detailed scenarios.

For example, foster families should permit a biologically male youth (who self-identifies as female) to share bedroom quarters with the family’s young daughter.

One specific provision requires forced speech from foster families—detailing that they must refer to a biologically female foster youth in their home as “him” or “he,” regardless of the family’s scientific, moral, or faith-based concerns.
